When someone asks, "How are you?" is "I'm okay" the best you've got? Developed from studies of human happiness and peak functioning, positive psychology is an up-and-coming field in the science of well-being, which seeks to make normal life more fulfilling. The field explores the roles of optimism, courage, strength, gratitude, accomplishment, meaning and values in the creation of happiness. This talk will explore some of the main topics and provide you with practical interventions and tools to increase your zest for life.

about the speaker

Naama Kaminer-Mevorak, was born and raised in Israel and moved to Los Angeles 9 years ago. With an extensive background in entertainment (acting, TV, radio hosting) She has earned her bachelors degree in communication. She continued her education and earned a Master's degree in positive psychology from the university of Pennsylvania. She works as a positive psychology practitioner in a private practice in Sherman oaks, she also conducts groups and give talks about positive psychology.
